Suspending a superconducting disc above or below a set of permanent magnets. The magnetic field is locked inside the superconductor ; a phenomenon called 'Quantum Trapping'.
I think this is the next step to the future. if one implemts away to have a contual source of liquid nitrogen pumping to cause the reaction with the superconductor at all time and a simple way to make the "disk" propel its self forward, in short burst, like gun. the motion is always contstant so there is no need to apply energy to make it start just force to propel forward. force to move backwards and force to stop. Lets say a burst of gun powder.
